London and Hertfordshire gift donations

A big thank you to over 300 volunteers who have supported us in reaching more than 4,800 people over the last 7 Christmases. We’re very grateful to our partner Small Acts of Kindness who are supporting with gift wrapping sessions for the third year in 2022.

Gift DELIVERY

Volunteers needed! With over 90 care homes supported last year it wouldn’t have been possible without our very own Violet’s Gift Santa volunteers. For more information and to register, visit our gift delivery page here.

WRAPPING GIFTS

Thank you to Small Acts of Kindness for running our present wrapping sessions again this year, and our incredible volunteers who have signed up. We are so grateful for the support. Click here for more information and to book your place/reserve a place on the waiting list.

DONATING GIFTS

We are very grateful for any donations. This can be done in 3 ways...

  1. Purchasing a gift from our Amazon Wishlist (please note this is set up as a Wedding List so we can see who has donated gifts)

  2. Dropping your unwrapped gifts Croxley Green Parish Council, Community Way, Croxley Green, Rickmansworth, Herts, WD3 3SU.

    • Open: Mon - Thurs 9:00 am to 4:30 pm and Fri - 9:00 am to 1:00 pm

  3. Donating money here, which will enable us to purchase heavily discounted gifts as we are charitable project

Thank you in advance for your donation. We understand it has been a difficult period for our volunteers and appreciate any donation no matter how small. This year is another vital year for supporting our care homes. Not only do people we support have have no loved ones outside the home, many have recently lost their friends within the care home too due to Covid.

The most popular gifts people have donated include:

  • socks

  • blankets

  • scarves

  • slippers

  • novelty Christmas items

  • confectionery

  • toiletries

  • puzzles

  • calendars

  • ornaments

  • water bottles

All gifts are much appreciated and unisex presents are preferred. Sadly we are unable to accept second hand presents for hygiene reasons. This doesn’t include re-gifting new items which is encouraged. We also struggle to find homes for alcohol and candles.
